Living on a budget

Pinching pennies I say. Making your own clothes can be expensive now a days. Fabric is high and getting higher. About 30 years ago you could buy fabric for about 88 cents a yard. Now cheap dry rot fabric is $10 a yard. My favorite fabric denim is too high even at Wally world. So I have found a way to get around that.
I look for yard sales with old jeans in I recycle them to make skirts, dresses and hand bags. I also notice some Thrift store throw away jeans also. So I dumpster dive all the jeans I can find. I take them home and wash them and bleach and some good ole TIDE honey. They come out clean and fresh. I am working on a dress right now once finished I will post a picture.
